Comment: Memories is a painting with a past. Most of us have memories of happy times around dinghies, swimming or fishing or just playing around. This old dingy seems to be recalling those times in this tranquil painting.

"Working in series has the benefit of becoming more involved in the subject while building confidence and thus giving the artist permission to explore the details." This large piece is painted on a textured surface giving another dimension to the work.
